What it is and why go

The Fira del Llibre de València is organised by the city's booksellers' guild and held in the Jardines del Real, known as Viveros, the historic park beside the old Turia riverbed. It is Spain's third-largest fair after Madrid and Barcelona and the fastest-growing in recent years: the 2026 edition, the 61st, passed one hundred exhibitors and 1,700 events.

Beyond the stalls, the fair programmes launches, signings, book clubs and events on several stages inside the park, in Spanish and Valencian, and since 2026 also at the Palau de la Música.
