FILIJ has been organised by Mexico's Ministry of Culture since 1981 and is the reference for children's and YA literature in Spanish: Mexican and international publishers, illustrators, storytellers and a programme that in 2026 — its 44th edition — adds up to 290 events with participants from ten countries.
