Run by Miami Dade College since 1984, the Miami Book Fair hosts hundreds of authors across a week of readings and panels, closing with a street fair weekend of stalls, food and children’s programming.
Its trilingual programme — English, Spanish and Haitian Creole — reflects the city, and makes it the best US stop for readers who follow Latin American authors.
Log what you buy, your progress and the quotes you underline. Free, no account needed to start.
Start for freeWeekday evening events are ticketed; the weekend stalls are open to everyone.
Free parking during the fair, and downtown street parking is hopeless that week.
It runs its own programme, often with authors who do not tour the rest of the US.
Miami Book Fair 2026 runs 15–22 Nov 2026 at Miami Dade College, Wolfson Campus, Miami.
